Volunteers are an important and essential part of any art education program. Volunteers introduce the wonders of art appreciation by challenging, guiding, questioning, and prompting visitors to attend local outreach programs each month.
No two interpretations or dialogues of a shared experience by children or adults are the same. Students soon learn their creative ideas are valued and there are no “right” or “wrong” answers. Everyone appreciates art for different reasons.
Volunteering can be life-changing in many ways. Helping others and the community can boost confidence by providing a sense of accomplishment. Volunteering can also give you a sense of pride and identity.
